About Abbey
Abbey Schutte is a Division I golfer at Arkansas, known for her determination, competitiveness, and vibrant personality. Her golfing achievements include a 2nd-place finish in her second collegiate tournament, securing 2nd place at the prestigious Fortinet Invitational, and making the cut at her first Epson Tour event at just 17 years old.
Abbey's passion for cowboy culture shines through. She has discovered a deep love for ranching and rodeo, spending her free time immersed in life with horses and cattle. An animal science major with a strong academic track record, Abbey aspires to build a career in cattle farming and ranching once her golfing journey concludes.
Faith plays a central role in Abbey's life. She is dedicated to living in a way that honors the Lord and is actively involved in giving back to her community. This year, she volunteered at a low-income school in Arkansas, finding immense joy and purpose in supporting children in need. Abbey's commitment to faith, service, and excellence reflects her mission to make a meaningful impact both on and off the golf course.
Family Legacy
Abbey Schutte's passion for golf began as a way to spend time with her father, a golf coach whose love for the game inspired her own. Watching him come so close to achieving greatness motivates Abbey to push herself while learning from his experiences.
Guided by his mentorship, Abbey is driven to follow in his footsteps by becoming an All-American and winning a National Championship. With her father's wisdom and her unwavering determination, Abbey is committed to building a legacy of her own in collegiate golf and beyond.

“Abbey's commitment story is a must tell to shed light on who she is. She is a bit of a magician and pulled a magic card trick on me to tell me she wanted to be a Razorback. I pulled my card from the deck, placed it back in, she shuffled them up and went through her process to identify my card.
